Hi Brian,
Thanks for your sharing.
I work in an antenna company (we sell to EU but not USA).I agree most of your points on the video, especially “disable my cable” ))))
To talk about cable, I think thinner doesn’t mean poor quality as I saw many vendors produce RG-6 cable but cost down on metal-braid. That may cause higher attenuation.
I saw some RG-6 with 64 braids or less but 1.5C-2V is with 128 braids or higher. And in this case, 1.5C-2V is better.
And to talk about amplifier, I think you were experienced with poor LNA as they also strengthen noise.
The LNA design nowadays, shall have good bands filter and makes it focus on working bands only.
(but yes, noise and interference are always there)
Alex
Thanks for the information Alex!

Hi Kevin,
Yeah, the FCC is re-arranging a lot of channel frequencies and unfortunately people are losing channels. Here are some tips that might help:

Best,

I bought an outdoor antenna that has a remote-driven motor to change antenna direction. The issue is, I do not know where the antenna is pointed. Is there a device available that I can place a direction on the antenna and remotely (app or device) showing the compass direction the antena is pointing?
I don’t know the answer to this one… Anyone else out there know?
Brian
is it true that the wider the signal the antenna absorbs, more channels are existing?
