A Beginner’s Guide to Getting Free Broadcast TV (Video)

How to Get Free TV

Some years ago, I put together a video for beginners explaining how to get free broadcast TV.  Despite the primitive production, it quickly went viral and got over 5 million views!

The crazy part is, the concepts that I talk about in the video haven’t changed! You can still get free TV using a cheap antenna, if you live in or near a big city.

Check it out and forward it to your friends who don’t know about free broadcast digital TV!

I hope you found this helpful. – Brian

Brian,
Have another problem my smart flat screen tv has difference colors in the back to hook up. Where is VCR and DVD player have red, white yellow plug in. I’m lost and do not know what to do. Do I have to buy some expensive plug-ins for my Smart TV. It’s very confusing to me and all I want is to have free TV. Didn’t I was asking too much. I had a stroke two years so everything is very hard for me to understand. I do well when there step by step directions. I have antenna if I need it. At the Library right now, using their internet as my cell is down with problems. Can you help me or at least tell me what I could make a copy to follow my problem. When I heard about your free TV, I was so exciting maybe I could have it too. Well, maybe or not? I’m not there yet?
Sincerely,
Carol Hawkins

Hi Carol,

Basically, you would hook up the cable from the the red, white, and yellow plugs on your VCR/DVD player to the red, white, and yellow plugs on your TV. Just match them up.

Your antenna cable should screw into a round connector at the back of your TV. See these instructions:

Best wishes,
Brian
